To share a video without recommendations, paste its link into ivehadit.app/send and send the link it gives you. The person who opens it sees just that one video or post, in the site's own embed, with no feed around it, nothing that plays on its own, and no next video. It works for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit and Facebook, and the person on the other end doesn't need anything installed.

A link to a video on YouTube or a Reel on Instagram is a door into the feed. Your friend opens it to watch the one thing you meant, and the page around it is built to show them the next thing, and the one after that. If you care about how much of that you see yourself, it's a small kindness not to hand it to someone else.

A feed-free link is just the one thing. They watch it, and the page says that's it.

How do I make one?

  1. Copy the link to a single video or post. On a phone, that's usually Share, then Copy link.
  2. Open ivehadit.app/send and paste it into the box. It checks the link as you paste.
  3. Press Copy link, or Share on a phone, and send it the way you normally would.

Short share links work too, like vm.tiktok.com/..., reddit.com/r/.../s/... or facebook.com/share/.... The page looks up where they point once and makes the full link.

What does the person on the other end see?

A calm, dark page with the video or post in the middle and a quiet line at the bottom: "Sent feed-free with I've had it." That's all.

SiteHow it's shown
YouTubeThe privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing autoplays. When the video ends, a plain panel covers the end screen.
InstagramInstagram's own embed of the post or Reel, with its caption
TikTokTikTok's embed player, with related videos switched off
XX's embed of the single post, without the thread above it
RedditReddit's embed of the post
FacebookFacebook's video or post plugin, for public posts

If a post can't be embedded, because the owner turned embedding off or the post is private, the page shows a simple card with a button that opens only that post on its site.

Is it completely free of recommendations?

Nearly, and I'd rather be exact about it. The page itself shows no feed, no related videos and no comments. On YouTube, the embed setting that's meant to stop related videos now only limits them to the same channel, and YouTube's player can still show a row of those while a video is paused. I can't switch that off from outside the player. What I can do is cover the end screen when the video finishes, which is where one video usually turns into five.

Every embed also has its site's own small link back to the original. That's the site's rule for embeds, and it's one tap, not a feed in your face.

What do you keep?

Nothing. The link is made in your browser and carries everything it needs in the address itself: which site, and which post. There's no database of links and no account. The page is also kept out of search results, so a link you send stays between you and the person you sent it to.

Questions

How do I share a YouTube video without recommendations?

Paste the video's link at ivehadit.app/send and send the link it gives you. It opens the video in YouTube's privacy-enhanced player with nothing autoplaying, and when the video ends a plain panel covers the end screen, so there's no next video to click.

Does the person I send it to need the extension?

No. A feed-free link opens in any browser, on a phone or a computer. They don't need the extension, an account, or the site's app.

Can I send a YouTube Short or an Instagram Reel this way?

Yes. Shorts open in the same player as any YouTube video, so there's no Shorts feed to swipe. Reels open in Instagram's embed of that one Reel, with no Reels after it.

The link has to point at a single video or post. Profile pages, search results, playlists and home feeds don't work, since the point is one thing. Private posts, and posts whose owner turned embedding off, show a card with a button that opens them on their site.

Can I start a YouTube video at a certain time?

Yes. If the YouTube link has a time in it, like &t=90s, the feed-free link starts there too.
