I've had it only runs on Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, YouTube, TikTok, X, Reddit and LinkedIn, plus ivehadit.app. On those sites it reads the page address to tell a feed from a single post, and the addresses never leave your device. Your account only receives daily totals and your plan, so the dashboard works everywhere. The full policy is on the privacy page.
What can the extension see?
The browser only gives the extension access to the sites it lists when you install it. It cannot see any other site.
On the supported sites it reads:
- The page address, to sort it into feed, messages or a specific page. See supported sites.
- How the page was opened: typed, bookmarked, reloaded, or reached by a link. That decides between a pause and a 30-second quick pass. Chrome only reports this for the supported sites.
- The referring site, to tell whether you came from another site.
- On YouTube, the video's category, such as Education or Howto & Style, to give lessons a longer window in Learn mode.
- How far you scroll, as a count of screens, for the scroll check. It doesn't record what was on them.
- Whether the tab is visible and in focus, to count minutes.
It doesn't read your posts, messages, comments, or what's in the videos you watch.
What stays on your computer
The extension keeps up to 60 days of daily totals in the browser's own storage, along with your plan and any open windows. The addresses of the pages you open are used in the moment and not sent anywhere.
What syncs to your account
Once you're signed in, each device sends daily totals every 15 minutes:
| Sent to your account | Never sent |
|---|---|
| Minutes on each supported site per day | The addresses of the pages you open |
| Feeds stopped, quick passes and scroll checks | What you looked at on them |
| Reaches for a feed in each hour of the day | Anything on sites the extension doesn't watch |
| The reasons you typed at the pause screen | Your browsing history |
| Your plan: modes, limits, budget, and your line about what you want more of |
The reasons you type at the intent gate are short notes like "reply to Ana". They're kept so they can show on your dashboard. If you'd rather not keep them, use the chips and type as little as you need.
What your account holds
- Your name and email address.
- A hashed password, if you set one. If you sign in with Google, I receive your name, email and profile picture from Google.
- The synced totals and plan above.
- A list of your devices, like "Chrome on Mac", so you can remove one. Each device has its own token, and only a hash of it is stored.
- Your trial or subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe and don't reach me.
Who processes it
I don't sell data, show ads, or use your numbers for anything except your own dashboard. The services that run the site are:
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the website |
| Neon | Stores the database |
| Resend | Sends sign-in emails |
| Stripe | Takes payments and handles cards |
How to delete your data
- On one computer: remove the extension from
chrome://extensions. That deletes everything it stored on that computer. - One device from your account: on your dashboard, under Your devices, press the bin icon. It stops syncing straight away.
- Your whole account: email hello@ivehadit.app from the address on your account, and I delete it, with everything it synced, within a week.
Steps for each are in uninstall, cancel, or delete your account.
Questions
Is I've had it safe to install?
It asks for access only to the supported social sites and ivehadit.app, plus storage, navigation events and a timer for syncing. It can't see other sites, and the addresses of the pages you open never leave your device.
Does I've had it read my messages?
No. It sees that a page is your messages from its address, so it can leave it open. It doesn't read what's in them.
Does I've had it sell my data?
No. Nothing is sold or used for ads. Your totals are used only for your own dashboard and phone app.
Can I use it without an account?
The extension needs an account with a trial or a plan to shut feeds. Your account only ever receives daily totals and your plan, never the pages you visit.
