I've had it is free for 10 days, then $2.99 a week. You add a card through Stripe when you start the trial, nothing is charged until day 10, and you can cancel before then from your dashboard and pay nothing. There's also an optional one-off $1.99 that opens one site for an hour when you keep hitting the same wall.

What it costs

PriceWhat you get
Free trial$0 for 10 daysEverything. A card is needed to start.
Weekly plan$2.99 a weekEverything, on every browser and phone on your account
Paid hour$1.99 onceOne site open for 60 minutes, with no pause screens. Optional.

There's one plan. Every feature, every site and every device are included in it.

How the free trial works

  1. During setup, after you make an account, you press Start my free trial.
  2. Stripe asks for a card. Nothing is charged today.
  3. The trial runs for 10 days. The setup page, the dashboard and the extension's popup all show how many days are left and the date of the first charge.
  4. On day 10, the first $2.99 is charged, and then every week after that.

The card is there so each person gets one trial. It's one trial per account. If you've had a trial before, you go straight to the weekly plan.

What happens without a trial or plan

Until your account has a trial or a plan, or while the extension isn't signed in, the extension doesn't shut feeds. On a feed it shows "Start your 10 free days" with two buttons: start the trial, or Let me in, which leaves that site open for an hour. The popup says "Not on yet: feeds are open".

If a plan ends, the same screen says "Your plan has ended" and the popup says "Plan ended: feeds are open". If a card payment fails, the extension keeps working while Stripe retries the card.

The $1.99 paid hour

When you come back to the same shut feed a third time in one day, the wall also shows "Skip the wait: open [site] for an hour, $1.99". It's a one-off payment with Stripe, not a subscription. The hour starts when you pay, and every linked browser picks it up. During that hour there are no pause screens, no countdown and no sentence to type.

You never need it. The free way through is still there: the 10-minute unlock, or changing the site's mode. The price is there so a full hour stays a deliberate choice.

How to cancel

  1. Open your dashboard.
  2. Under Your plan, press Card, receipts, cancel. That opens Stripe's billing page.
  3. Cancel there.

If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing. If you cancel later, the plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and the dashboard shows "Ends [date]. Nothing more will be charged." Removing the extension doesn't cancel the plan, so cancel on the dashboard too. More in uninstall.

Questions

Is I've had it free?

The first 10 days are free. After that it's $2.99 a week. A card is needed to start the trial, and nothing is charged until day 10.

Will I be charged if I cancel during the free trial?

No. Cancel from your dashboard before the trial ends and nothing is charged.

Do I pay separately for each computer or my phone?

No. One plan covers every browser and phone on your account. See sync across devices.

Is the $1.99 hour a subscription?

No. It's a single payment that opens one site for 60 minutes. It's only offered after the third time you hit the same wall in a day, and you never have to take it.

Where can I see my receipts or change my card?

On your dashboard, under Your plan, press Card, receipts, cancel. Stripe handles the card, the receipts and cancelling.
