To stop using I've had it, there are three separate steps: remove the extension from chrome://extensions, cancel your plan from the dashboard under Card, receipts, cancel, and, if you want everything gone, email hello@ivehadit.app to delete your account. Removing the extension does not cancel your plan, so do both if you want to stop paying.

How to uninstall the extension

  1. Open chrome://extensions (in Edge, edge://extensions also works).
  2. Find I've had it and press Remove.
  3. Confirm.

You can also right-click the extension's icon next to the address bar and choose to remove it. Removing it deletes everything it stored on that computer: your local totals, your plan copy and any open windows. Your account, and anything already synced to it, stays until you ask me to delete it.

How to cancel your subscription or trial

  1. Sign in at your dashboard.
  2. Under Your plan, press Card, receipts, cancel. This opens Stripe's billing page.
  3. Cancel there.

If you cancel during the 10-day trial, nothing is charged. If you cancel after, the plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and the dashboard says when it ends. After that, the extension lets feeds through and shows "Your plan has ended" on them. Prices and the trial are explained in pricing and trial.

How to remove a device

On your dashboard, under Your devices, press the bin icon next to the browser or phone. It stops syncing straight away. In the phone app, the Devices tab also has a Log out button for the phone itself.

How to delete your account

Email hello@ivehadit.app from the address on your account and ask me to delete it. I delete it, with everything it synced, within a week. Cancel your plan first, so Stripe stops charging. What the account holds is listed in privacy.

Taking a break instead

If you only want the feeds back for a while, you don't need to uninstall:

  • Set a site to Untouched in the popup or on the dashboard. It's left alone and not counted.
  • Set it to Daily limit and pick more minutes, so it works as usual for that long each day.
  • For one feed right now, use the 10-minute unlock. See unlock a feed.

Your plan, streak and history stay in place for when you switch back. See site modes.
