Getting started
How do I install it?
Follow the four steps on the install page, then set up your plan. The extension picks the plan up as soon as it’s installed.
Which browsers does it work in?
Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc on a computer. Safari on iPhone and Firefox are next.
Which sites does it watch?
Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Messenger, X, Reddit and LinkedIn. Every other site is left alone, and the extension can't see it.
Something isn't working
The site says it can't find the extension
Open chrome://extensions and check that I’ve had it is switched on, then refresh the ivehadit.app page. In a private window it only works if you’ve ticked “Allow in Incognito” on the extension’s details page.
My numbers don't show up on the dashboard or the phone
Open your dashboard once in the browser that has the extension, while signed in. That links it to your account. After that it syncs every 15 minutes. The extension’s popup shows when it last synced and has a Sync now button.
A feed isn't being shut
Check the site's mode in the extension's popup. Open means it's left alone. After changing a mode, refresh the tab. If it's set to Closed or Pause and the feed still loads, the site has probably changed its pages: email us the address and we'll fix it.
A page I actually need is blocked
A link from somewhere else (Google, email, a chat) opens for 30 seconds. Typing the address gets a short pause and a two-minute window for a specific task. For a feed that's shut, the small link under the button unlocks it for 10 minutes after you type one sentence and wait 60 seconds. If a site keeps getting in your way, set it to Pause instead of Closed.
It doesn't seem to work on X
X changes its pages often. Send us the address that slipped through and we'll look at it.
Phone
What does the phone app do?
It signs in to the same account and shows your numbers from every device, and lets you change your plan. Blocking inside the Instagram and TikTok apps themselves needs Apple's and Android's permissions and is the next thing we're building.
Your account and data
How do I remove a device?
On your dashboard, under Your devices, press the bin icon next to it. It stops syncing straight away.
I forgot my password
Resetting it by email is coming soon. Until then, write to us from the address on your account and we'll sort it out.
How do I delete my account?
Email hello@ivehadit.app from the address on your account. We delete it, with everything it synced, within a week.
How do I uninstall the extension?
Open chrome://extensions and press Remove. That deletes everything it stored on that computer. Your account stays until you ask us to delete it. What we keep and why is on the privacy page.
