How do I share a YouTube video without recommendations?
Paste the video's link in the box on this page and send the link it gives you. The person who opens it sees only that video, with nothing playing next and a plain panel over the end screen when it finishes.
Does it work with YouTube Shorts?
Yes. Paste a youtube.com/shorts link and the person gets that one Short in a normal player, not the swipeable Shorts feed.
Does it keep the start time?
Yes. A link with ?t=90 or ?t=1m30s starts at the same moment on the feed-free page.
Can YouTube still show suggestions?
A little. YouTube's own player can suggest videos from the same channel while it's paused, and an embed can't turn that off. Nothing autoplays, there is no sidebar, and the end screen is covered.
