Choose **Forgot password?** on the [log-in page](https://ivehadit.app/login), or open [password recovery](https://ivehadit.app/forgot-password). Enter the email address you used for your account.

The confirmation is the same whether or not an account exists for that email. If there is an account, you receive a link that works once and expires in **30 minutes**. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive. You can request another link if needed; repeated attempts may require a short wait.

## Choose a new password

Open the email's link, enter a new password of 8 to 128 characters, repeat it, and choose **Save new password**. Then log in with the new password. Previous web sessions are signed out. Linked browser extensions use separate device tokens and remain linked; you can remove a device from the dashboard if you need to revoke its connection.

An expired, invalid or already-used link cannot change your password. Choose **Request a new reset link** to start again.

If you normally use Google, **Continue with Google** is still available on the log-in page.

## Privacy

Recovery pages are excluded from site analytics and session recordings. The reset token is removed from the page address after the form loads, and the page uses a no-referrer policy. Email links still need to be kept private until used or expired.

If reset email is temporarily unavailable, the recovery page explains how to contact support. Requesting a reset by itself does not change your password.
